We are looking to invest in youth football and are seeking aspiring stars that are currenty in Reception (U6) and Year 1 (U7) to join us. We are offering free training to these year groups, enabling the lads and girls to try out the club and see if they would be interested in joining us. We hope to be able to put some teams together and enter the East Manchester leagues next year.

Under 9 Reds Triumphant in Cup Final
14th May 2016
Congratulations to our Under 9 Red's who won a hard fought battle against Prestwich Maurauders FC Panthers in the final of the Chairmans Cup of the North Bury Junior Football League. A close contest saw Middleton unlucky to conceed 2 goals in the first half. The lads came out fighting after half time though and tested their opposition. Their team spirit and commitment prevailed and were rewarded with their first goal half way through the second half. Prestwich soaked up more pressure from Middleton with their goalkeeper stopping a barrage of shots from consequtive corners. The lads were rewarded with the equaliser through an excellent bottom corner shot within the last minute to save the game. It was looking like a penalty shoot out would settle the game but a fight back from the kick off saw us retain the ball and steal the winning goal through a penatrating shot to the top corner. Well done to all of the lads, they fought to the end and stole and well deserved vistory.

Congratulations to our Under 9 Red's who eased into the Bury League Cup Final with a fantastic 4 - 0 victory tonight. Against very good opposition, the team played as a unit and virtually closed the game out at half time with a 3-0 advantage. A final goal in the second half secured the win and that final place. Speaking after the game, manager Anthony Fletcher praised the players, pointing out that everyone had played to the best of their ability and worked together to secure this deserved win.

U7's - J D Williams Team Of The Week
21st November 2015
Oldham Athletic Community Trust welcomed Middleton Lads and Girls JFC to SportsDirect.com Park , who are their J D Williams Team of the Week, for this weekend’s fixture against Barnsley.
Today's team of the week is our current under 7’s squad. Our red and green teams play in the East Manchester junior football league in a 5 a side format. Both teams are doing well this year and learning to win and lose as a team whilst encouraging their understanding of teamwork and making new friends across the town.
For some of the lads this was their first experience of a live football match, as well as the exciting experience of playing on the pitch at half time. It is an experience that we cannot thank the club enough and as we are in the catchment area of OAFC may also encourage the parents to get the kids along to other matches and another generation of fans.
